CARTsol project is focused on enhancing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy for cancer treatment. This therapy has been groundbreaking, but it faces challenges like limited CAR-T cell movement to tumor sites, immune-suppressing tumor environments, and unintentional damage to healthy tissues. Furthermore, it’s less effective for certain cancer types, especially solid tumors. The urgent need is to improve CAR-T cell effectiveness against solid tumors by enhancing their delivery and promoting a favorable immune environment within the tumor.
